the 2007 I could fine were about $6k but had twice the miles as that one
this seems much more feasible for $10k

Carmax’s prices are always high but this one takes the cake. Yikes.

It hit their lot in 2010 and they haven’t dropped the price since.

My cousin just sold his 07 Focus for $750. Of course it was an automatic with 300k miles.

They probably saved it to laugh at it.

Go look on Autotrader for a Focus wagon. There are a lot priced at $8-10k.

U.K. model, same year, engine size, transmission and mileage.
Car is a Ghia (second from top if I recall).
GBP£2,650 (USD$3,871). The saloon may be rare over there but they are also quite rare here as most bought the hatchback or estate versions.
So USD$10,000 I say crack pipe.

It comes with unlimited blowjobs from Donald Trump

I’d pay 10K to NOT have that thank you very much.

I just bought an 05 Focus (05-07 are the same) w/ 60k miles for $3k for my kids. Plus it is a loaded SES (16" alloy wheels/foglights/heated seats/upgraded stereo) vs. this base model. Mine even had an automatic trans (I know, boo, but it is for my kids) which invariably up the price on these. How does CarMax stay in business if they keep cars on the lot for 6 years? What kind of business plan is that?

Saloons, or sedans as we call them over here, are the very opposite of rare in the states. Traditionally it’s hatches and wagons that are rare over here.

The saloon is common for large cars but in 2007 the Ford Focus sold much more 3 door, 5 door and estates.
Small saloons aren’t considered a practical use of space compared to a hatchback or estate.
Quite a few with large saloon cars have a small hatchback for running about in or carrying stuff bad and forth.

When I was shopping for a car in 2010 the local ford dealer was selling the 09 mid level leftovers for $12,800.
